Megan Davies completed her PhD under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie TRANS-SENIOR programme with the University of Basel and Maastricht University in March 2023. The PhD titled ‘Tri-national ethnographic multi-case study of person-centred practices on quality of life in long-term residential care (TRIANGLE)’ comprised three rapid-ethnographic studies in long-term residential care homes in Switzerland, the UK and the Netherlands. Each study explored person-centred practices within the three local contexts how this impacted resident quality of life, with a focus on resident experiences (including residents living with dementia), putting their voices at the forefront.
Megan has a background in Health Sciences and Sports Science, with a particular interest in older adults and people living with dementia.
