A stimulating TRANS-SENIOR training event in Leuven, Belgium

TRANS-SENIOR

From September 7th to 10th, INS PhD students exchanged with their international research peers.

TRANS-SENIOR is an EU funded project designed to train health care innovators who will shape future care for senior citizens. Two of our PhD students form part of TRANS-SENIOR: Maria José Mendieta (INSPIRE) and Megan Davies (TRIANGLE). During this training event our PhD students participated in various lectures and workshops that focused on effective dissemination and quality of reporting, financial systems for care, open access policy, and career development, among other topics. They also had the opportunity to participate in social events with their colleagues from Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands and Germany as well as with the supervisors involved in the project, to stimulate networking.
