Lunchtalk: "Nurse Practitioners in Nursing Homes: What We Know and Future Directions" with Prof. Katherine McGilton

Nurse Practitioners (NPs) have made significant contributions internationally to the care of older adults in LTC homes and the support they can provide to staff working in these homes. However, barriers influence NPs’ ability to provide care in LTC homes. Recommendations for the future that include NP models of care as a way in which to optimize team managed care to a vulnerable complex population will be discussed.

Prof. Katherine McGilton

The event is open to the public and free of charge. There will be the opportunity to take part with Zoom. Please register for the lunch talk by March 12 2024, by clicking here.
