Biosketch
Jessica Gaylord is a family nurse practitioner, with a masters degree from the University of California, San Francisco. At the INS, she is working on the revision of the MScN curriculum, to help create and implement a Nurse Practitioner career track. Prior to her current position, she had worked since 2006 at a community health center in Arizona, serving patients of all ages with acute and chronic health problems. From 2014 to 2015, she worked at the Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaft (ZHAW) in Winterthur, Switzerland as a lecturer, clinical instructor and research associate, helping to promote the Advanced Practice Nursing role within the masters program. Prior to health care, she worked in environmental protection.
