Biosketch
Lynn Leppla works as a postdoc lecturer at the Institute of Nursing Science, Basel within the course of APN role development. Beside she has a position as an Advanced Practice Nurse the field of allogeneic stem cell transplantation and leads the department of clinical nursing research, practice development and quality improvement at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany.
Lynn Leppla has earned her PhD in nursing science in 2021 from the University of Basel. Her dissertation was about the development and implementation of an integrated model of care for allogeneic SteM cell transplantatIion faciLitated by eHealth (SMILe). As a result of the successful project, the SMILe integrated care model has been implemented in Freiburg and Lynn established a new research group working at further module development for the SMILe-ICM. Driven by a strong belief that innovations in the field of Advanced Practice Nursing and stem cell transplantation are only possible through a synergistic interplay between clinical work, research, and education she continues to combine clinic, research and education.
