Choice of a PhD Subject
The INS research programme focuses on two key areas: Patient Safety & Quality of Care and Innovation in Care Delivery. Research programmes develop knowledge and innovative approaches related to the care of patients and their family, healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations and healthcare systems.
PhD students will study in one of the two research areas often connected to larger research projects or starting off their own research project supported by their PhD supervisors. In order to maintain high standards for the supervision of PhD students the Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Nursing Science carefully select a PhD committee with the necessary expertise to support students in developing and conducting their PhD projects. PhD committees often are set-up interdisciplinary and internationally.
